Depression Care That Starts With Clarity

When depression drains your battery, your life feels smaller.

Depression does not always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like forcing yourself through the day, coming home empty, avoiding people you love, or wondering why nothing has helped enough yet.

MagVenture MagPro R30 · FDA-cleared

Depression can slow down the mood circuits in your brain. TMS is designed to stimulate them.

During treatment, a coil rests near the scalp and delivers brief magnetic pulses. Over a series of sessions, TMS is designed to stimulate brain networks involved in mood. It is non-invasive, does not require anesthesia, and you remain awake.

RSLNT uses the MagVenture MagPro R30 and tracks symptoms during care. Some people describe tapping; some have temporary scalp discomfort or headache. The consult helps the clinical team decide whether TMS, counseling, medication management, or another next step makes sense.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about TMS

What does TMS feel like?

Most people describe a tapping sensation on the scalp. Some have temporary scalp discomfort or headache, especially early in treatment. You stay awake and no anesthesia is needed.

How long does treatment take?

Each session lasts 20-30 minutes. A typical course is 5 sessions per week for 6 weeks (36 sessions total). You can drive yourself and return to normal activities immediately.

Does insurance cover TMS?

RSLNT at Towne Centre is cash and self-pay today. We are not in-network. We will not list a payer as accepted until we can bill them. Once enrollment exists, coverage will still depend on plan, diagnosis, and prior authorization.

Is TMS safe?

TMS is FDA-cleared and non-invasive. The most common side effect is mild scalp discomfort during the first few sessions, which typically resolves quickly.

Is TMS a fit for you?

TMS may be a good fit for adults with major depression or OCD who have not found adequate relief from medication or therapy alone. If anxiety or PTSD symptoms are part of the picture, we evaluate the full treatment plan during your consultation.

When will I start feeling better?

Response varies. Some people notice changes during the course, while others need more time or a different care plan. The clinical team will discuss what to expect before treatment starts.
