Talking matters. The right kind of talking, with a licensed therapist trained in proven methods, changes how your brain handles depression, anxiety, and trauma. That is what we do.
What We Use
Every counselor at RSLNT Wellness is licensed in the State of Utah and trained in therapy methods with strong clinical research behind them. We do not do open-ended chatting. We do focused, structured work that has been studied in real patient populations.
First-line treatment for depression, anxiety, and panic. Identifies the thought patterns that drive symptoms and rewires them with skills you keep for life.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Strong evidence base for trauma, PTSD, and combat-related stress. Often produces results faster than traditional talk therapy.
Specialized methods for veterans, first responders, and survivors of acute or chronic trauma. We work at your pace and never push.
ACT helps you stop fighting the thoughts and feelings you cannot control, and start moving toward what actually matters to you.
When mental health is affecting the people around you, we can bring them into the work. Available as needed, with full HIPAA protections.
Gold-standard treatment for OCD. Often paired with TMS for the most stubborn cases. Done in measured steps that build real-world confidence.
Who We Help
When the energy, motivation, and joy you used to have feel out of reach. CBT and behavioral activation give you tools to start moving again. Read more about TMS for depression on our depression page.
Generalized anxiety, panic attacks, and social anxiety respond strongly to short-term, structured CBT. We pair it with skills you can use the same week. See our anxiety treatment page.
EMDR and trauma-focused CBT have the strongest evidence base for PTSD. We work especially well with veterans. More on TMS plus counseling for PTSD.
Exposure and response prevention is the only therapy method with consistent results for OCD. Often combined with deep TMS. See OCD treatment options.
How It Works
A 20-minute call to figure out whether counseling is the right fit and which therapist on our team makes sense for what you are dealing with.
60-minute first session. We map out your history, goals, and what success looks like for you. We use the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 to set a real baseline.
Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly. Most are in person at the Provo clinic, with secure telehealth available when you need it.
At week 8, we look at your numbers and your lived experience together. If something is not working we change the plan. We do not just keep going.
Counseling + TMS
TMS rebuilds the underlying brain circuits that depression and trauma have weakened. Counseling builds the new habits, thought patterns, and skills that go in those rebuilt circuits. Many of our patients find that the combination produces faster, deeper, and longer-lasting results than either treatment alone.
Doing both at one clinic also means your therapist and your TMS team are looking at the same chart and the same outcome data. No phone tag. No retelling your story.

We use the words interchangeably. At RSLNT, every counselor on the team is a licensed mental health therapist in the State of Utah, trained in evidence-based methods like CBT and EMDR.
Most patients see meaningful change in 12 to 20 sessions. Some need fewer, some more. We use validated outcome tools so we know if therapy is actually helping you, not just keeping you busy.
No. Counseling stands alone for many patients. But research shows that TMS plus counseling produces stronger and longer-lasting results for depression and PTSD than either one alone, so we offer both at the same clinic.
Yes for most patients. We are in network with Tricare, SelectHealth, PEHP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. We verify your benefits before your first session so you know exactly what you will pay.
Yes. Many of our counseling sessions are available by secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth, which makes it easier for patients in Lehi, American Fork, or Salt Lake County to keep up with weekly sessions without the drive.
Free consultation. No pressure. We will tell you whether counseling, TMS, medication, or some combination is the best place to start.
