RSLNT Wellness is a veteran-owned, minority-owned TMS clinic inside Provo Towne Centre, on the south side of Provo. This guide walks you through what a visit looks like, from the moment you park to the moment you head home.
You want help that fits your life, not one more thing to juggle
Maybe you've been thinking about TMS for a while. Your provider brought it up, a friend mentioned it, or you've been reading late at night. What holds a lot of people back isn't the idea of TMS. It's the logistics. How often do I have to go? Can I get there after work? Where do I even park?
Those are fair questions. You should get straight answers before you commit to anything.
What is TMS, in one paragraph?
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) uses a magnetic coil placed against the scalp to send short pulses to an area of the brain involved in mood. Ask your clinician about driving after your session. The National Institute of Mental Health describes the most common side effects as mild, such as scalp discomfort or headache. For the longer version, read how TMS works at our clinic.
MagVenture MagPro R30, FDA-cleared for major depressive disorder.
We also offer TMS protocols for PTSD, OCD, anxiety, cognitive enhancement and pain, plus therapy, medication management, telehealth, accelerated TMS and couples and family care.

What your first visit looks like
Your first step is a free consult, and booking online is quick. On the consult, a clinician reviews whether TMS is a fit for you. It's a conversation, not a treatment session.
Have these ready if you can:
- Your insurance card
- A list of medications you've tried, with rough doses and how long you took them. Missing pieces are fine.
- Your questions about the schedule and what fits your week
If TMS is a fit, your clinician sets your schedule and walks you through what each visit involves. If it isn't, we'll tell you and talk through other options.
Will the schedule work with my week?
Standard TMS sessions take about 30 minutes, including your first. Accelerated TMS sessions take about 10 minutes; your first accelerated session takes about 15, with 5 extra minutes for mapping. Visits are usually most weekdays for several weeks; your clinician sets your schedule.
Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Mountain Time, and closed on federal holidays. Evening hours can make it easier to come after work or school pickup instead of taking time off.
Questions Springville residents ask us
1. Is there TMS closer to Springville?
There are TMS options around Utah County. Whichever clinic you look at, ask what device they use and what it's cleared for, what the hours are, how they handle your insurance, and whether they'll tell you honestly if you're not a candidate. Then pick the one you can get to week after week. Our guide to TMS therapy in Utah covers the bigger picture.
2. What about insurance?
RSLNT Wellness accepts TRICARE, TriWest and VA Community Care. VA Community Care usually starts with a VA referral, and we confirm referrals and benefits at your consult. If you're a veteran or family member, see our page on care for veterans and their families, or read our TRICARE and TMS guide for Provo.
3. Does TMS replace my medication?
Not automatically. Some people continue a medication, some adjust it, and some are not good candidates for more medication changes. Your clinician decides with you. Don't stop or change any medicine on your own. Talk with your prescriber first.
4. Will you tell me if I'm not a candidate?
Yes. Metal near the head, certain implants, a seizure history and other factors can make TMS a poor choice. Sometimes the honest answer is "not right now."
5. Can I drive myself home?
Ask your clinician about driving after your session. They can go over what to expect at your consult.
